Blue by ADT is seeking to fill openings in the Collections Department. Collectors will deliver exceptional customer service and recover revenue losses through outbound calling efforts.

REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

Promote a positive and cheerful attitude to teammates and customers.
Ability to apply basic math skills to set up payment plans.
Ability to communicate clearly and articulate your thoughts.
Ability to multi-task while keeping the customer engaged.
Ability to make decisions independently.
Ability to proactively solve problems.
Ability to diffuse escalated conversations.


Ability to read and interpret documents.
Basic understanding of home automation, alarm systems and how the phone and internet work together.
Has strong time management skills and does not need constant supervision.
Prior accounts receivables or collections experience a plus, but not required.
Prior experience in an outbound role a plus.
Existing Blue by ADT employee who has completed Care training.
Consistently meeting KPIs and goals in current position.


DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Make outbound calls to collect past due balances.
Complete assigned work lists daily.
Handle inbound calls and properly manage payment arrangements.
Proactively probe customers for details that help to resolve delinquency concerns.
Process basic data changes and updates to customer accounts accurately and thoroughly.
Meet performance goals to reduce churn and increase customer experience.
Be respectful to everyone.


Be dependable and punctual.
Be competent, willing to learn new skills and grow within the organization.
Take inbound calls for Customer Support, as needed. If previously received Tech Support training, may also be asked to take Tech Support calls, as needed.
Meet or exceed the minimum goals on a monthly basis in all KPIs set for the Collections role. The goals and KPIs are subject to change at any time.


We’re looking for someone with results they are proud of like: 

High school diploma
Excellent customer service experience
Collections and Call Center experience preferred
Strong technical aptitutde, problem solving skills and ability to prioritize multiple items at once
NOTE: Blue by ADT’s Customer Support Center is open seven days a week with the Collections team working Monday Friday from 9am to 9pm and Saturdays from 9am – 6pm. We are currently hiring for all shifts, all days.
