The Data Entry Specialist is under the direct supervision of the Project Evaluator. This position is fully dedicated to the Community Mental Health Centers (CMHC) Grant Program under the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA) and is crucial to meeting all reporting requirements associated with the CMHC Grant Program.
The Data Entry Specialist will process confidential data and information according to various project guidelines and communicates with other departments and staff members to ensure all relevant data is appropriately collected. This position must successfully complete critical aspects of deliverables with a hands-on approach and through collaboration with others, both internally and externally. Remote work options.
The Grant is a two-year award and funding may end at that time. HCMHDD Centers will reapply for future funding opportunities to sustain the grant but in the event funding is not extended, grant staff can apply for other positions within the agency for a transfer.
You will get to:
Enter NOMS into SPARS (SAMHSA Performance Accountability and Reporting System)
Assist with the development of the data base required to record, track, and report all data elements
Coordinate with staff to conduct NOMS related activities, including assisting individuals in services to participate in self-reporting for NOMS measures
Score survey instruments and provide results according to grant requirements
Identifies trends and variances in Project and areas of improvement
Adhere to Hill Country Mental Health and Developmental Disabilities Centers (HCMHDD) policies, procedures, including the completion of all required training
Attend work regularly and as scheduled
Qualifications
You’ll definitely need:
A bachelor’s degree or associate’s degree in behavioral health or related field (preferred)
High School Diploma or GED with experience in data entry or equivalent experience in a related field
A valid Texas State Driver’s License.
Current automobile insurance and the ability to travel when necessary.

Can successfully work remote
