In this role, you’ll act as a scheduler/planner that reviews requests for Quality Inspections from our Customer base and make determinations on how to best meet the schedule needs by allocating technical resources across North America and Mexico.

Responsibilities for this role:
Provide specialized technical expertise in support of KBR’s and our Customers Quality programs.
Perform duties as a liaison with Customers to schedule resources that accomplish highly technical work content based on customer input meeting their demand stream needs.
Conduct business in a highly professional manner with Customers, their Suppliers and KBR Inspectors such that we maintain good and collaborative working relationships across all levels.
Responsible for maintaining quality/delivery service levels of our Source Inspection team for their work scope.
Using critical thinking skills, specialized technical expertise, problem solving and a degree of analysis, review customer requests and determine the best resource option to satisfy schedule demands.
Using excellent written and verbal skills, you will query Customers/Inspectors to fully understand, resolve and complete open requests in our scheduling system, including documenting the resolution in job notes and communication in our Tier Meetings.
Maintain accurate and good records of all transactions to enable good communication between team members and transition of work between other Schedulers in different work shifts.
Under general supervision, works within a specialized function to complete tasks in accordance with procedures/policies.
Make recommendations for corrective action/continuous improvements to our processes and work instructions.
Accomplish technical document reviews to validate adequacy and correctness.
Monitor and follow up on the progress of inspections to ensure work completion and assure customer schedule needs have been met.
Utilization of emails, text messages, phone calls and other communication tools to efficiently schedule and route resources throughout the day.
Data entry in various business tools maintained for Management review and Service Level measurements
Performs all other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
Specific contract requirements regarding education and experience will prevail.
U.S. Citizenship Status required due to client requirement.
Skills acquired for this job are typically acquired through a high school diploma and 4+ years of relevant experience.
Ability to work remote and maintain a high degree team engagement/communication.
Proficient in use of Excel and other similar structured data tools – Microsoft Teams experience for virtual team collaboration
Effective oral and written communication skills are required; ability to capture critical information in a succinct form.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multi-task while following standard work to ensure we deliver our services in a consistent/repeatable means.
Ability to work occasional overtime as well as an occasional Saturday.
Preferred Qualifications/Behaviors Desired:
Previous Quality Inspection experience.
Previous resource scheduling experience driven by Customer demand.
Knowledge of Aerospace Quality standards.
Proficient with SharePoint data management.
Professional mindset that seeks to understand and respect customer requirements.
Knowledge of Automotive or Aerospace supply base and associated requirements.
Ability to learn fast and apply learnings daily.
Continuous Improvement mindset that seeks to improve task efficiency and effectiveness.
