  • Weekly Hours: Up to 15 hours weekly. Schedule to be determined with supervisor.
  • Student will be allowed to work remotely from Austin, Texas.

Purpose

The Professional Learning Student Associate (SA) plays a key role in supporting both the strategic and operational functions of the Professional Learning and Development Team at OnRamps. This position involves proactive engagement in planning and executing professional learning events and projects, as well as providing timely support for OnRamps high school Instructors and responding to seasonal or urgent needs. The SA is expected to take initiative in identifying opportunities for process improvement, contribute to data collection and analysis to inform decision-making, and maintain accurate and organized records. This role requires a detail-oriented, self-motivated individual who can manage multiple priorities while ensuring high standards of quality and accountability.

Responsibilities

  • Performs data entry, scheduling, management, and reporting in OnRamps’ systems related to professional learning events.
  • Analyzes data and create visualizations inform decision-making related to scheduling, attendance protocols, and other professional learning systems.
  • Engages in continuous improvement processes toward achievement of program objectives and staff leadership principles.
  • Engages in routine communication regarding current progress and upcoming tasks.
  • Responds to inquiries related to Professional Learning Institutes, CPE credit, and other professional learning experiences.

Required Qualifications

  • Current Undergraduate Student 1+ years working in a professional office environment
  • Detail-oriented
  • Ability to accurately utilize tools in Word and Excel Willingness to learn new systems and skills
  • Ability to manage workload in a remote environment

Relevant education and experience may be substituted as appropriate.

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience with assisting with data entry
  • Experience with editing and/or repetitive administrative tasks
  • Experience with Excel formulas such as VLOOKUP, SUM, IF/THEN, etc.

Salary

$12.00 – $14.50 hourly
