Your Role in Our Mission: Alpha Gamma Delta’s award-winning Communications and Marketing Team is integral in building international brand affinity through an innovative, intentional approach to both internal and external communications. The team is committed to elevating engagement and maintaining brand integrity and congruence across the organization.


Your success will be defined by your ability to produce quality work against hard deadlines, build collaborative and productive relationships with staff and volunteers, and be proactive in developing and executing the Fraternity’s marketing strategy.


This role is open to remote candidates.

What You Will Be Doing:

Execute and contribute to the Fraternity’s digital communication efforts, including:

• Create and implement a comprehensive content strategy and schedule for all social media channels, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, Pinterest, Vimeo and YouTube.

• Create and schedule email campaigns using Delivra, as well as track segments for retargeting and audience management.


• Create and curate blog content.

• Coordinate social media digital asset production (graphics, video, etc.) with Graphic Design & Multimedia Specialist.

• Identify and drive cross-promotional content opportunities.

• Use Asana’s project management platform to organize and manage daily workflow.

• Utilize campaign analytics (Sprout Social, Google Analytics, etc.) to determine success and identify opportunities for improvement.


• Collaborate with the Quarterly Editor to determine which content leads will be used for social media, website/blog, or Fraternity magazine, as well as execute social media promotion of magazine content.

• Work with internal teams, as well as the Foundation, FHC and Boutique, in the development and execution of recurring campaigns, including the annual Day of Giving, Alumnae Dues program, Recruitment Toolkit, Academy for Collegiate Officers, International Convention, Volunteer Appreciation Week, Alpha Gam Week of Service and more.


• Upload and organize photo assets in Flickr.

• Serve as a thought-leader when brainstorming ideas across all communications and marketing projects.

• Identify new engagement platform opportunities as they arise, as well as new and innovative ways to communicate with members and stakeholders.


You Are:

• A communications and marketing professional with a desire to contribute to an innovative, collaborative team.

• An excellent communicator with strong verbal and written skills in the English language.

• Flexible, able to adapt to changing needs and shift priorities as required.

• Able to demonstrate sound decision-making in high-pressure conditions with minimal oversight.


• Detail-oriented, organized and enjoy working in a fast-paced environment.

• Solution-oriented and a creative problem solver.


 Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in journalism/communications, public relations, new media, marketing or related field.

• 2–3 years relevant, professional work experience preferred.

• Experience managing and monitoring multiple social media channels for a large organization.

• Ability to create, compose, edit and proofread written materials; AP Style proficient.


• A strong understanding of Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Creative Suite (specifically InDesign and Photoshop or Lightroom); familiarity with video creation software, project management applications (Asana), Delivra email platform and the WordPress website content management system is ideal.

• Membership in Alpha Gamma Delta or another fraternity/sorority is preferred, but not required.

• Ability and willingness to travel as a representative of the Fraternity when needed

• Must be able and willing to lift and carry items 35-50 lbs.

• Application must include the links and date ranges for social media channels you have managed. Design of original graphics not necessary, but please share only URLS for channels in which you were the primary contributor of content and voice.

Job-Status: Non-exempt, hourly

Reports to: Chief Marketing Officer
